Wood Promotion Pavilion - industry capabilities
Poland is currently the largest producer of wooden flooring, HDF/MDF boards and garden equipment, as well as the fourth producer of furniture, the second producer of chipboard and the eighth producer of timber in the EU. Many sectors of industry, including wood, pulp and paper and furniture, depend to a large extent on forest resources and their efficient exploitation for their development. Woodland in Poland amounts to 29.5%, and the higher the rate of obtaining raw material, the more dynamic the economic progress.
The properties of wood make it the most natural and user-friendly material used on a large scale, but its resources are limited. It is crucial that the development of the woodworking industry goes hand in hand with the ability to supply raw materials. And this is the main goal behind the idea of the Wood Promotion Pavilion - to popularize companies and institutions operating in the wood and furniture sector and to provide extensive information on the possibilities and directions of development for the industry.
Hall 3 will be home to the Wood Promotion Pavilion - a unique space for creating and developing business related to woodworking and showing the potential of wood as a raw material. Over the four days, guests attending the Drema 2018 International Trade Fair of Machines and Tools for the Wood and Furniture Industry will have an opportunity to learn about the activities of many companies, industry associations or institutions from Poland and abroad such as: the National Labour Inspectorate, the State Forests Association, the Polish Association of Woodworkers, the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Wood-based Board Manufacturers Association in Poland and leading media (e.g. Drewno.pl portal).
The Wood Promotion Pavilion will consist of Live Studio HOUSE and WOOD, DREMA Design Zone, Knowledge Zone, Parquet Zone, Health and Safety Zone, and will feature B2B Wood Meetings. Additionally, the participants will be able to take part and benefit from numerous demonstrations, lectures, business talks, practical trainings and many other scheduled attractions.
The State Forests and companies that have decided to promote their brands through non-standard exhibits invite the participants to their stand located within the zone arranged for the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Wood Industry (PIGPD). The partners of the PIGPD Wood Promotion Zone are such companies as Wiązary Burkietowicz, Koszalińskie Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Drzewnego S.A., and ASPI. During the fair, Polish sawmills and companies cooperating with the wood industry on a daily basis will also present their offerings. On top of that, representatives of Norwegian, Canadian and Finnish woodworking companies will also be present as exhibitors. Visitors will be able to find a spot for a conversation and get familiar with offers of companies from all over the world regarding both those who want to buy Polish products and those who want to appear on the Polish market.
The State Forests will have a separate stand and promotion zone. The first day of the fair will see meetings with regional directors, marketing heads of all directorates. General Director of the State Forests Andrzej Konieczny cordially invites everyone who is interested to meet.
The Wood Promotion Pavilion at Drema will certainly be a source of both inspiration and knowledge, as well as an excellent promotion platform for companies and institutions from the wood sector. The wood and furniture industry is facing more and more opportunities for development, new prospects are opening up, and the aim of the space in hall 3 is to enable professionals to access leading companies, state-of-the-art machines, innovative solutions and key information about the latest trends and opportunities in the industry.
The entire wood and furniture industry meets from 11th to 14th September 2018 in Poznań at DREMA / FURNICA / SOFAB. Feel invited!
